Private South Coast Tour
The same South Coast landmarks — chartered exclusively for your party, with the freedom to tailor the day to your interests. We have a carefully planned route to suggest, built around the region's most breathtaking highlights, but every stop can be added, skipped or reordered along the way.
The Experience
A Route Built Around You
This is a private departure — the itinerary below is our recommended route, showcasing the South Coast's most breathtaking highlights, but every stop can be added, skipped or reordered to suit your interests.
Skógafoss & the Village of Vík
We begin at Skógafoss, where a powerful cascade plunges an impressive 60 metres into a wide pool. From there, Vík í Mýrdal — one of Iceland's most renowned coastal villages, and the only one in the country without a harbour — offers sweeping panoramic views from its hillside church over the village and the coastline beyond.
Reynisfjara & Sólheimajökull
We continue to Reynisfjara's black sand beach, where the North Atlantic crashes relentlessly against volcanic rock, before following the Viking Trail inland to Sólheimajökull — an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull, its surface carved by ice and volcanic ash into deep crevasses and striking blue formations.
Seljalandsfoss & the Hidden Gljúfrabúi
On the way back toward Reykjavík — weather permitting — we walk behind the cascading curtain of Seljalandsfoss, then step into the narrow canyon that hides its lesser-known neighbour Gljúfrabúi, a gem many visitors miss entirely.
